Wow. Me and my wife (Sylvia - hi!) and our good friends Paul and Mand (hi!) went to see Laura Veirs at the Sage Gateshead (UK) yesterday. She's only playing 3 solo UK dates apparently and we were fortunate enough to catch her. That's the set-list above (which she kindly signed for me). Laura was amazing, spellbinding. Most tracks she played straight up acoustic, but a couple (Pink Light and (?)Firesnakes) she used a little 'loop unit' to flesh out the sound - it sounded fantastic.
